Squarespace Review: Pros, Cons, Features & Pricing

Squarespace is an ecommerce platform built for people who want to launch fast and look good doing it. If you're a photographer, designer, or solo retailer who’d rather pick a polished template than wrangle backend systems, this one’s aimed squarely at you.

But polish has its limits. Squarespace trades off deep customization, multichannel expansion, and advanced ecommerce tooling in exchange for simplicity and visual consistency.

In this review, I’ll break down where Squarespace delivers, where it falls short, and whether it can support the retail goals you’ve actually got—not the ones some SaaS product manager assumes you have.
